Download Torrents in your School/College Anonymously without any FEAR

Guys today i decided to make tutorial to super-hide utorrent and its download folders so that only you can access it and perform anonymous downloads at your school/college without being caught.(very little chance for others to track you). This is only for WINDOWS.

Let's begin.

First of all create a folder (Say 123) in C:\Windows\system32
In that folder create two more folders in it viz. downloads and install.

Now download lightweight utorrent from http://www.utorrent.com/
Install it in folder C:\Windows\system32\123\install with the following options unchecked as shown below.

After this Open your utorrent and go to Options->Preferences.
Here in general tab, assign Boss Key and check the option "Append !ut to incomplete files".

In my case i have set up Boss Key = Ctrl + Shift + Alt + A
The Boss Key combination is used to hide the utorrent icon from taskbar. And the !ut at the end of your file will prevent others to Search .avi , .mp3 etc for uncompleted Downloads.

Next open your .torrent file that you want to download and Select the download folder as C:\Windows\system32\123\downloads.

After that we will add a registry key at startup so that our utorrent starts in hidden mode at startup.

For this, go to run, type in regedit and enter.

Then navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
Here open utorrent string and add /hide at the end of it as shown.
Click ok.

Now we will hide utorrent also from Add/remove programs list.
For this, Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\uTorrent.​
Here in right pane create a new DWORD Value by Right Click -> New -> DWORD Value.
Name it as SystemComponent and Set its value as 1.

That's it. Now utorrent is hidden from Add/Remove programs.

Now our next step is to modify Task Manager.

WARNING:- Before moving further make a copy of your original task manager(taskmgr.exe) in a safe folder located at C:\Windows\system32\taskmgr.exe

So now download Resource Hacker from http://www.softpedia.com/progDownload/Resource-Hacker-Download-1520.html
Start Resource Hacker and Open task Manager located in C:\Windows\system32\taskmgr.exe
In Resource Hacker Navigate to Dialog -> 110 -> 1033 and delete the highlighted string as shown in figure.

After that click on "Compile Script" and Click File -> Save. 
 
 Now whenever you Open your task manager. Your Processes list will not be shown to anyone ;)

  

If you wish to revert back your Original Task Manager then Copy Replace this one present at C:\Windows\system32\taskmgr.exe with the Original file that you saved earlier in a safe folder.

Now your next download will be a registry key created by me which will keep your Hidden Folders always hidden.

Copy this 123.reg file to C:\Windows\system32\install

Now we will add this 123.reg file to your windows startup.
For this, Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run.
Then in right pane create a new String Value by right click -> New -> String Value.
Name it hidefolders or whatever you want.
And in its value type "C\Windows\system32\123\install\123.reg" /s

That's it. What this will do is Make your Hidden Folders Always hidden even if you Select "Show hidden Files and Folders" and "Show protected operating system files(recommended)" in Folder Options.

The /s switch suppress the message of registry file being added each time.

Now after that we will be super hiding our install and downloads folder.
For this create a notepad file in the same folder and add these lines:-

attrib +r +a +s +h downloads

Save this file and change its extension to .bat.
This will be our batch file.
Now execute it. It will then hide your install and downloads folder.

More Additional thing you can do is to associate .torrent file to another application so that utorrent icon don't show in .torrent files.

Now Open up My Computer and go to Tools -> Open Folder Options -> View.
There Check the Options "Do not show hidden Files and Folders" and "Hide Protected Operating System Files(Recommended)".
Hit Apply and then OK.

That's it now enjoy your Downloads.

After this much process, you have achieved these things :-

1. Only you can access your utorrent with Boss Key

2. Hidden Folders will always remain Hidden.

3. utorrent will not show itself in Add/Remove Programs.

4. All your Subsequent downloads will be contained in C:\Windows\system32\123\downloads folder.

5. You can access your Download folders by Selecting Open Containing Folder in utorrent.
