This is a veryyy basic tutorial, actually there is two in this one tutorial.
The first trick is adding the S on the end of http, this means that you are trying to connect to a website with a secure connection which website blockers such as netsweeper would take as a safe website and unblock. For example.
https://www.facebook.com is what works most of the time unless the school bans it. This works for games websites and even amazon... if your that kind of person >_<.
The second way is by going into google images, make sure instant search is off and search for someones name for example i search 'John Wayne facebook' and when you have searched look for an image with the link it comes from http://www.facebook.com as shown below.
