Hello Friends! Mobiles phones are very common in India so  Marketing companies send lots of sms and call to users for their product while we are not interested in it but today, onwards the rules has been changed and if you don`t want marketing call or sms then you can`t get any unwanted calls and sms.There is one rule name DND (Do not Distrub ) but now this has been changed to National Customer Preference Registry (NCPR). You have to register at  NCPR.

If any company call or sms to any registered number at NCPR, then it will be fine Rs 25000 to 2,50000. Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has been announce it. Earlier the customer had to registered at DND but now customer have two option 

1. Full Blocked 
2. Partially Blocked   

How to Use this service

Steps For Full Blocked

1. First  send SMS to 1909 or  Log in to http://www.nccptrai.gov.in/ to Connect with the National Consumer Prefrens registry. If you  are already connected to the Do Not Call registry, so it is not required.
2. If you want to block all kind of unwanted calls and sms, you have to send sms in this format

START0 to 1909

Don`t write space between START and numbers

Steps For Partilly Blocked 

1. You you want partially blocked some service. you have to send this type of sms.

For Financial Products: START1
For Real Estate: START2
For Education: START3
For Health for: START4
For Consumer content: START5
For Communication to: START6
For tourism: START7  

For more than one services send sms like START (Space) 1,2  to 1909 (toll-free).you can call 1909 to use this service via voice. if getting problem use Space between START and no.
